So while having an incredibly crazy dream that Sasy, Ashia and I were on a road trip one thing stuck out. Ashia demanding that I wear cream. I remember looking at the outfit she’d picked out, the pants were a very tailored corduroy, and more a light banana creme. When I woke up and logged in I knew I had to wear these great mesh pants from SLink. Gawk! just released shaded long pull overs in a range of colors, worn here is brown. I have mine tucked in, but you can wear it over and longer. I love my mon tissu Seneca Threaded Leather Belt, it’s available in eight colors, and lots of variations in brown to get it just right. Maitreya‘s latest release are mesh ankle boots called Devi. They look great, and are available in eleven colors. My hair is also a mesh goody from Wasabi Pills, I love this hair style. The soft thick braids up front, and long and loose in the back, with trendy 2012 bangs. The mesh moves with you really doing this style justice. I’m wearing eyes and skin from Amacci. I like that my lipstick is this deep red soft shade that goes perfectly with my Mandala nails, and picks up the red in my shoes, and the the red tones in my belt and bag. My bag is another mesh item, that moves with the body, from Celoe, also available in a selection of colors.

The liliputians birthday boutique has several new designs for birthday boys; whether it’s a first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh or eight birthday!
First check out the new construction themed birthday shirt, Birthday Construction Road Work. The perfect birthday shirt for your little contractor. He’ll be ready for the big dig in his applique number shirt. It comes with the birthday boy’s Birthday Number (1-8) made from a fun road signs print green fabric. The same number of construction vehicles will be “working” on the Birthday Number of your choice (choose from 1-8).
Next, the law is in town so you best behave! The birthday cowboy, make that the BIRTHDAY SHERIFF, is here in the Birthday Sheriff Bandanna Print Number Birthday Shirt, and he’s (FILL IN THE BLANK) years old! This fun applique shirt will be the perfect attire for the lawman on his big day. Red bandanna print fabric and a Western styled font is used for the birthday number (choose from 1-8). Gracing the birthday numer is the all important sheriff’s badge on the upper right.
While we’re on that Western theme, have your cowpoke check out the Cowboy on Horse with Birthday Number Western Birthday Shirt! This fun applique shirt will be the perfect attire for the ho-down of a big day. Brown bandanna print fabric and a Western styled font is used for the birthday number (choose from 1-8). Jumping over the number is 1 cowboy on his horse. Ye-haw!
We sold out of many of our other monster truck themed birthday shirts, but have a great new design, Flaming Monster Trucks in Blue & Brown. This appliqued shirt comes with the birthday boy’s Birthday Number (1-8) and the same number of appliqued flaming monster trucks. The retro styled number is made from striped blue and brown fabric.
And on that automotive theme, check out this flash from the past, the Keep on Truckin’ Birthday Shirt. Here’s our own take on our truckin’ psychadelic birthday number. The number of your choice (choose from 1-8) will be made from the groovy font style shown and given two wheels so it can roll along through your birthday year. Groovy!
And as always, all liliputians birthday shirts are made to order. You pick the size, the number for the applique, the color, and long or short sleeves. They are completely customizable and made with love (right here in the USA, New York City to be exact) just for your birthday boy!

James Jeans Couture Skinny 1285 Vesper jeans, Vince sweater (last seen here), J.Crew blouse, Steven by Steve Madden boots, Shopbop Bop Basics scarf (similar), Vintage gloves, J.Crew coat, Foley + Corinna bag

I’m a denim girl. I wear jeans most days and you can usually find me pairing skinny jeans with a blouse & heels at night and with boots & a sweater at work. Henceforth (yes, henceforth), I was excited to try a pair from the new James Jeans Couture Collection. They conform to your body while being super stretchy and also come in a really dark wash which I loved. James Jeans makes awesome jeans, period (another pair I love are here). I loved pairing the Couture Collection ones with layers in Georgetown while in DC this past weekend.

The law stipulates that protective clothing should be worn when certain kinds of jobs are being undertaken. Vests are worn to make sure the workers can be clearly seen to avoid accidents especially in bad weather conditions. They make sure that motorists can see the workers. The class II vestclass II vests are one type. They are worn by law enforcers, rail workers, emergency assistance crews, road construction workers among others.
Standards
Standards for protective work wear are set by the American National Standards Institute or ANSI in the US. They also regulate the standards of other protective work gear. They provide guidelines in regard to the material to be used in the background, the quantity of reflective material to be used, where it is positioned and its style or structure.
Class 2
For ANSI vest, ANSI stipulates that the vests should have no sleeves and it should be made using a specified amount of background material and reflective material. This class is for workers working close to roads where the speed limit for vehicles exceeds 25 miles per hour and those working near heavy machinery. Airport crew handling baggage and those on the ground, forest workers and parking and toll gate attendants are also required to wear them.
Requirements
After this class come the ANSI Class 3. These ones have sleeves and a specified amount of background material as well as reflective material. They are worn by workers who are even more predisposed to risks and need even greater enhancement of visibility. They are used by those around traffic moving at speeds of over 50 miles an hour. They are required to be worn by railway workers, utility workers, survey and flagging crews and emergency responders.
Product
Sheriffs, police, EMS and firemen are also required to wear a protective vest when working. They are expected to have on ANSI 207-2006 vests. These vests may be coded with colors and they may be customized according to the different industries. These ones have no less than 450 square inches of background material with 201 square inches of reflective material.
Parking Attendants
Those who collect shopping carts, delivery vehicle drivers and parking lot attendants are also required to have them. These workers work a good distance away from traffic and the traffic in these areas moves at no more than 25 miles an hour. Their duties also allow them to observe traffic.
Style
They are sleeveless and they can have some reflective tape or none at all. They are commonly available in lime and orange which have high visibility. However, they can also be worn in others colors as long as they are also clearly visible.
Recently I was invited over to Sasy’s for dinner. I threw on a cocktail dress from Connors, added two, yes, two sets of false eyelashes for drama, and bundled up in my Harris Tweed Coat from S H I. I love this coat, so warm, and very chic. I also love my concave cut from SLink, it’s beautiful, sleek, and perfect all the way around.
Read about my dinner at Sasy’s on SasyPants.

Joie blouse, Gryphon skirt, Christian Louboutin shoes, Rebecca Minkoff clutch (sample sale score!), Kenneth Jay Lane necklace (c/o Thomas Laine), Jewlmint rings (c/o), J.Crew tights, Karen Walker sunglasses

These photos have been hiding on my hard drive and I just re-surfaced them. This is what I wore on Christmas Day. A touch of holiday spirit through a sparkly Gryphon skirt and rather simple in all other manners. It was unseasonably warm at home in Chicago for this time of year but I have to tell you, I kind of loved it, even though I missed having a white Christmas. I’ve since worn this skirt a few more times and this Kenneth Jay Lane necklace has become a staple in my go-to jewelry each day.
Kate Bosworth was honoured at the 2012 Spotlight Initiative Gala Awards Dinner during the 2012 Sundance Film Festival on Sunday night in Park City, Utah.
Many of you stated that she was overdressed for this festival wearing an Antonio Berardi dress for a premiere, but I’m sure you will agree that this Valentino Spring 2012 dress is perfect for a gala dinner.
Her delicate black sheer and lace dress with a black velvet floral accented waistband was teamed with black Valentino pumps with an embellished heel from the Fall 2011 collection.
She wore her hair back in a ponytail again and accessorized with a JewelMint ring.
Neutral makeup completed her look.
Did she get it right or is she still overdress for a Sundance Film Festival event?
