Neon pink is fast becoming Viola Davis’ favourite colour during her spectacular run on the red carpet recently.

The actress joined many other stars at The Beverly Hilton hotel in California today for the 84th Academy Awards Nominations Luncheon.

On this occasion she wore a hot pink Juan Carlos Obando dress, but we’ve seen her in pink before at the ‘Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close’ New York Premiere and W Magazine’s Annual Golden Globe Awards Celebration.

It’s no wonder she loves this colour so much, as it’s very warm and complementary against her skin-tone.

Whilst Rooney Mara has given us a just two different hairstyles this awards season, Viola sports yet another chic do.

This bang sweeping crop is one of my favourites from her. It’s modern without making her look like she tried too hard.
